Summer Bucket List
The summer solstice occurs this weekend (June 21) and we deserve a long, warm sunny day after the winter we’ve had! In celebration of the solstice, here’s a to-do list for Innsbrook summer fun. How many of these activities can your family check off this weekend? Get out of the house for the day and head for these exciting Innsbrook destinations.
Take in Free Live Music – A great way for Innsbrook property owners to spend an evening with the kids, spouse, or neighbors is at our Summer Breeze concert series. Pack a picnic dinner and bring a cooler, lawn chair, and your favorite dancing shoes (or flip-flops!).

Go for a Bike Ride – Rent mountain bikes from the Fitness Center at the Conference Center or get out your own and explore Innsbrook’s 125 miles of protected paved roads or one of the five nature trails! Experience the health benefits of bicycling for exercise and get closer to nature when you experience Innsbrook on two wheels!
Cool Down at the Country Market – Cool down from a day of exploring the great outdoors with a sweet treat from the Innsbrook Country Market. Grab some delicious ice cream with the family and gather around the picnic tables outside while you snack. Make sure to pick up a 2014 IBK T-shirt while you’re there!

Explore the Historic Log Cabin – There’s plenty of fun to be had exploring the historic 1840s log cabin in Innsbrook’s Tyrolean area south of Lake Alpine. The Innsbrook Historical Society has made a lot of progress on refurbishing the cabin in the past year. Check out the period furnishings, hardwood floors and beautiful landscaping!

Ride a Horse – Take in the scenery and fresh air on an exciting trail ride, or get the family together for an evening hayride at the Farmhouse. Our stables offer guided trail rides for ages 8 and over, and fun walk/rides for younger kids. At Innsbrook, there are 20 miles of riding trails to explore!

Make Sticky S’mores – Fall Fest is a free fall evening celebration of Camp Innsbrook with a bonfire, hayrides, snacks, crafts, and live music for the whole family. It’s a great place to make your first s’mores of the season! Craving a marshmallow, chocolate and graham cracker treat before then? Head out to the firepit at your home or chalet and put your s’mores recipe to work!

Tour an Open House – Nearly every weekend during the spring, summer, and fall of each year, Innsbrook’s real estate agents host open houses at a few select chalets, custom homes, condos, and villas that are for currently for sale. Keep an eye out this year for the first open house at the new cottage display!
Get Better at Golf – One great thing about golf is that it’s a sport people of all ages can take part in. Whether you’re a scratch golfer or an absolute beginner, our Golf Learning Center can help you with your game and overall playing experience. Then take your new skills to our course for a relaxing round in a picturesque environment.
Eat at Hanneken’s – Set on Innsbrook’s ninth hole, Hanneken’s overlooks the green and fairway below. The restaurant and pub also offers outdoor dining on a deck overlooking the course as well as a lower-level patio. Hanneken’s often hosts meals for property owners and the public for special events and holidays.
Photograph your Experiences – Whether you enjoy taking pictures of people, animals, scenic vistas, wildlife, flora or fauna (or all of the above!) there are plenty of things to photograph on any day at Innsbrook. Just head out with your camera and explore Innsbrook through a lens. Then share your photos with your friends and family on Facebook or other social networking sites, and share them with us! You can send photos to us anytime, or wait to submit them in the Annual Property Owner Photo Contest, coming up this fall.
