Making a Difference, One Blanket at a Time

Making a Difference, One Blanket at a Time

The owners and staff of Innsbrook have pretty big hearts.

The generous spirit of these folks came alive In July, at the Community Service day camp where blankets and hand-written cards were created for some great causes.

50 fleece blankets were lovingly created at the camp and will be donated to the Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in September. We will also be presenting $360 to the hospital which was made – one quarter at-a-time – at the Community Yard Sale in August. Thank you to all of the owner’s who donated their items to the yard sale and to everyone that came out and bought a treasure that day!

We also paired up with Patriot Packages this summer. With the help of the Camp Innsbrook kids throughout the summer, many soldiers will recieve hand-written cards and treat bags this fall. The treat bags (pictured below) have been presented to Innsbrook owner and President of Patriot Packages, Bob Braendle, and will soon be on their way to show our appreciation to our troops.

These are only two examples of the kindness that’s experienced at Innsbrook. Whether it be a golf tournament organized for a good cause to saving a piece of history to offering a kind word or a smile, Innsbrook is a special place full of people willing to lend a helpful hand.

The essence of Innsbrook comes not only in the beauty of the land and lakes, but in the kind and generous people that call it home.
