We first became familiar with Innsbrook when my husband was approached to play in a golf tournament at Innsbrook’s course. After attending, he discussed his favorable impression of the community. We decided to view the different properties since the location was close to our home in Chesterfield. When we initially drove through the gate together, my immediate reaction was amazement at the beauty! We definitely were encouraged to explore further.

Nine Innsbrook properties later, we own a charming chalet that is bright and appealing. The many windows showcase our view near Sonnenblick Lake. We have an expansive yard conducive to the peaceful environment. There are many different areas for our family and guests to play and relax at any time of year.
My favorite season at IBK is winter. There are beautiful trees and you can see things you’ve never seen throughout the rest of the year. When the air is crisp, we have fires outside in a firepit and inside in the fireplace. It’s beautiful to see the first snow of the year.
When our sons were young, we would often create our own arts and crafts, including painting rocks. We’ve kept many of the rocks we painted together. We never take time for crafts at our permanent home but when we’re at Innsbrook, we take time for things.
Our family has our own celebrations that we enjoy together. Our son’s birthday is close to the time of the Innsbrook Fireworks Extravaganza. He’s 22 now and we’ve been celebrating his birthday at IBK since he was four years old.

Within the Innsbrook community, we have participated in a lot of activities, especially when the kids were younger, including attending Summer Breeze concerts, hanging at Charrette Creek Commons pool, walking the many trails and golfing. Our sons participated in camps, even leading some when they were older. We would often ride horses at the Stables. Sometimes we would visit the library at 10:30 p.m. in the evening because we didn’t have a structured schedule when we were at Innsbrook.

Now that our sons are older, we cherish the Clubhouse Bar & Grille and are constantly ordering meals, bringing it back to the chalet or eating there. I’m also fond of shopping at the Aspen Boutique and Country Market. Love it! We drive around for hours and spend a lot of time walking the trails. We enjoy fishing, swimming and boating in the lakes. We go to Innsbrook and just live.There are some amazing people working at Innsbrook. Chip and Charlie are our friends. The Services department is so helpful. Whenever we have a project or need a repair, we call Diana or Kurt. They also help repair items after hours during emergencies. We trust who they send and the price is very reasonable.

The Innsbrook community is wonderful and we wouldn’t have the life at home that we enjoy if we didn’t have Innsbrook. At Innsbrook we enjoy the peace and quiet the most. At our permanent home, the phone rings constantly. The Innsbrook environment exudes a peaceful, quiet, calming community. Innsbrook is very simple.
When we’re at Innsbrook, our family is always together, laughing and having fun. Our lives wouldn’t be the same if it weren’t for this amazing place.
