Announcing the 2015 Summer Breeze Concert Series Lineup!

With the dreary, gray days that have blanketed Innsbrook and the entire St. Louis area recently, there’s no better time to transport yourself to summer with a look ahead at the talented bands that will be making you shake it under the stars at Innsbrook’s outdoor amphitheater in 2015.

Inaugurating the stage at the new amenity complex, which will be hosting its first performance in history on May 24, is the high-energy, can’t-stop-dancing sounds and moves of the Dirty Muggs.

Dirty Muggs

The Dirty Muggs will have you on your feet and showing off your moves before the sun goes down on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend!

Also back in 2015 by popular demand are the Well Hungarians. Coming off their first-ever performance at Innsbrook in 2014, the Well Hungarians take the stage on May 30 – mark your calendars!

Well Hungarians

The Well Hungarians perform all over the St. Louis area, taking their playlist of country hits from wineries and casinos to concerts with big-name acts including Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson and Dee Snider of Twisted Sister.

Don’t stop believin’ – but the concert schedule continues to rock when the concert series resumes (after the Innsbrook Institute Summer Music Academy and Festival) on June 20. Coming to us all the way from Nashville is Journey tribute band Resurrection.

Resurrection

The band says that “Whether you’re a hard-core Journey fan, a newly converted one, or just want to relive a special part of your life through a shared musical adventure, you will be captured by the moment listening to ‘Resurrection – A Journey Tribute’ and soaring from the experience long after the party’s over!”

The Funky Butt Brass Band returns to Innsbrook this year on June 27, taking classic New Orleans brass tunes and giving them a twist. And don’t be surprised if you hear some Motown, Southern rock, Memphis soul, Chicago blues and St. Louis R&B in the mix!

You gotta like any band that includes a sousaphone.

Up next on July 3 is a big Innsbrook hit – The Breakfast Club! This high energy rock/dance 80s tribute band will bring you to your feet. Every song they play is a popular hit and will have you exclaiming, “I know this song!”

The Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club will spin you right round to all the radical sounds and over-the-top styles of the 1980s as they kick off Independence Day weekend at Innsbrook.

The Rattle and Hum KC concert was rained out last year and they have wanted to come back ever since. July 11 will be the U2 tribute band’s first performance at Innsbrook, and we have high hopes that it’ll be a dry one!

Rattle and Hum KC

Rattle and Hum hails from the Kansas City area, and places a priority on accurately delivering the U2 sound. Witness their passion and musicianship as they perform U2’s vast catalog of songs from 1980 to the present!

Old Salt Union will take their modern bluegrass and country sounds on the road, heading to Innsbrook out of Belleville, Ill., for the first time on July 18. The band says that they “stretch the boundaries of traditional bluegrass music by incorporating in-depth musical arrangements, a catchy hook and an uncanny pop sensibility.”

Old Salt Union

Old Salt Union was named Best Country Band in 2014 by the Riverfront Times, who also named them Best Bluegrass Band in 2013.

The variety/piano music of My Friend Mike comes to the Innsbrook stage on July 25. With members from South City to Lake St. Louis, the band is fronted by Mike Schlipp, who has played solo at the Aspen Center in the past. (Though the music styles differ, Mike is also a member of Butch Wax & The Hollywoods, performing at Innsbrook on September 5).

Join them for their IBK debut!

Kicking off August on the first is Serapis, who have played at Innsbrook’s Memorial Day celebration before.

Serapis

This group has been together playing authentic rock music in the St. Louis area since 1982.

Vote for Pedro brings the party back to Innsbrook on August 8, 2015 for a night of Top 40 hits under the stars. The band covers the entire spectrum of popular music, from modern and classic rock to current and past pop and dance hits.

Vote for Pedro

Recently, members of Vote for Pedro collaborated with St. Louis Symphony musicians (including concertmaster and Innsbrook property owner David Halen) in performances to raise money for local institutions!

After your feet recover from the dance party with Vote for Pedro, welcome Elton John tribute band Dogs of Society to the stage on August 18.

Dogs of Society

The group wil make their Innsbrook debut and put on an energentic rock show perfect for all ages!

Then Midwest party rock dance band Dr. Zhivegas returns to Innsbrook on August 22.

Dr. Zhivegas

Always playing your favorite songs, Dr. Zhivegas is a live 21st century Juke Box!

Rounding out the month of August on the 29th is Eagles tribute band Seven Bridges Road.

Seven Bridges Road

With its delicate and haunting six-string intricacies, Seven Bridges Road has set out to recall the legend that is the Eagles, with the richly-layered recreation worthy of the legacy of Don Henly and the boys.

In the Summer Breeze Concert Series finale on September 5, Butch Wax & The Hollywoods return to Innsbrook to help your family celebrate Labor Day Weekend. Together for three decades, this band will make you get up and shake it with all the oldies and dance music from the ‘50s, ‘60s and early ‘70s.

Butch Wax & The Hollywoods

Butch Wax & The Hollywoods have performed at Innsbrook several times, and say it’s a favorite place to play. Their performance style is funky, soulful and fun.

We hope you’ll make it to the outdoor amphitheater for each and every performance! No matter what type of music you personally enjoy, Summer Breeze concerts are a popular community event, where neighbors gather and catch up over a picnic, kids play Frisbee and make up their own creative games, and everyone enjoys an evening under the stars.
