Innsbrook's Green Building Projects
Our motto at Innsbrook, since we started the development in 1971, has always been: “In Harmony with Nature.” And today, as we find ourselves in the middle of the green movement, our motto is as strong as ever.

The Innsbrook Green Initiative was founded on the idea of encouraging determined green practices in our community. This includes construction of buildings, practices and programs within the community for our property owners, as well as for our employees.

Building Green
Building green means constructing a home that uses less energy, water and natural resources in an attempt to co-exist peacefully in its natural surroundings.

The National Association of Home Builders has a green building program. This NAHB rating system promotes the design and construction of high-performance green homes. A green home creates less waste and is healthier for the occupants. Another benefit for the occupants includes lower energy and water bills, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and less exposure to mold, mildew, and other indoor toxins.
